From hitachi engineers that worked on the Sega Saturn console in 1994 a new type of CPU has been made that is 32 bit and opesource. It has a very shallow pipeline of just 2-stage and it is suitable especially for IoT and Edge being simplistic and clock scalable. The project of the processor started in a clean room with RTL design, Perl to simulate micro-code and Modelsim for the execution. The RTL was then translated to Intel FPGA 10 device 55nm with 4,655 logic cells. Performance is suited for Edge Ai devices.
