Europe inaugurated , 4 years ago, a project called OSMOSE aiming at increasing the reliance of each EU country on the mix of renewables technology solutions by putting in evidence a multiservice hybrid storage,providing multiple services by grid devices and cross border sharing of flexibility sources.
Specifically:
“The OSMOSE project is a H2020 EU funded project answering the call for a ’Demonstration of system integration with smart transmission grid and storage technologies with increasing share of renewables.’ The project aims for the development of flexibilities which can be used for a better integration of renewable energy sources (RES).“
